Teaches in: Woodinville

I found yoga in 2009 when I was looking for a way to de-stress. As a mother of two young and very active children at the time, I looked forward to taking advantage of the time I carved out for myself to practice and let go of my busy day. The physical and mental benefit that I get from hot yoga is nothing like any other form of exercise I have done. I was hooked and now yoga is my lifestyle. I practice it every day in one form or another.  #selfcare

I am vinyasa trained and started teaching in 2012. The hot room is my yoga sanctuary; however, I love brining yoga outdoors and other spaces as it makes yoga more fun and accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Yoga is connecting breath and movement and can be done anywhere; calm the breath, calm the body, and calm the mind. #yogaisjustabreathexercise #yogaeverywhere

My other passion is wine, and I am so happy to be living in Washington Wine Country and minutes from Woodinville. I am not a wine expert, but I do love supporting the wine community. I volunteer at various wine events and enjoy tasting, learning, and connecting with the industry leaders. Bringing my two passions together is a combination made in heaven. #woga

 Favorite Pose: Final Savasana

That feeling of letting go and taking in the benefits of the work that you put in from the beginning of class. Doing nothing at all but just be. It seems so simple, but it is the hardest posture to master. To quote my favorite and longtime yoga instructor, “Are you just lying on the floor or are you practicing yoga?” #quiethemindquietthebody

Something most people don’t know about you:  I am obsessed with Scrabble and other word games. #Scrabble #Wordle #Password #excercisethemind #brainagility
