I’m Amy! I’m a 500-hour Yoga Teacher and have been teaching since 2018. Before yoga, I spent over 30 years working in healthcare, always drawn to helping others. After experiencing a back injury, I turned to yoga as part of my healing journey and discovered firsthand the profound mind-body connection. Through my personal practice, I came to appreciate yoga as a powerful tool for health and wellness, inspiring me to share it with others. In my classes, I focus on creating a welcoming space where you can explore mindful movement, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices. My goal is to help you find balance and harmony, both on and off the mat, while feeling supported throughout your journey.
Favorite Pose: I love Tree Pose, or Vrikshasana, because it’s like a little reset button for my mind and body. It helps me feel balanced and grounded, even if life’s throwing curveballs at me. Plus, it’s a great reminder that, like a tree, we can stay rooted and steady no matter what life tosses our way—whether it’s busy days or moments of calm.
Something not many people know about me: I once had the most adventurous day of my life in Costa Rica. I spent the day riding horseback through the jungle, ziplining over lush treetops, and sliding down a natural waterslide into a crystal-clear pool. I soaked in mineral mud baths, relaxed in hot springs, and ended the day with a massage surrounded by nature. The food was incredible—authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. It was the kind of experience that made me feel alive, completely immersed in the beauty around me. Simply Pura Vida.
